Chapter 4 is 19,000+ words / 50 minutes (approx) and follows the detective and their partner Flea the incubus as they contend with a deadly family reunion.

This is my favorite IF series. Flea feels very much real in the way he's written and the story is exceptionally immersive! I also really love the different kinds of personalities the MC can have :>. Awesome work, and very excited to see more 💙

Heck yeah, I am. I also bought and played your Wilder games and absolutely loved Ran (even if that little shit did abandon me in the woods at one point... [side-eye]). You have a great knack for worldbuilding and storytelling, and I also both wasn't at all prepared for and really like the type of formatting this particular story presents. The unique Flea intro images and storytelling flair are really neat and honestly inspiring.

Well fffffffffffffffffuuuuu- Our poor baby Flea. My own MC is going to feel a lot of self-hatred and guilt over this. For not being stronger. For not being able to handle that wraith. For things getting out of hand like that. For putting Flea in such a situation. And for being the root cause behind Flea's newest fate. Sure, he would have missed him dearly, but he wouldn't have stopped Flea from going home. He's definitely fallen in love with Flea.
On a side note, loved all the fluff and yes! Finally bought Flea some clothes. And cooks for him. They are practically married now, whether either accepts it or not. Also loved that my MC was happy to approach and first aid despite Flea's trick being dropped. <3
Meanwhile, the landlord is started to suspect that MC is keeping some very large unauthorized dogs or something in his apartment. *sees the large gash marks in the floor* VERY large dogs.

Landlord: *sus but MC has always been very neat, reliable, and by the book as far as a tenent goes* Just...keep it down from now on.
MC: Absolutely, sir.

I forgot to ask, there's going to be ten chapters in total right? Do you think after chapter ten you'd be able to add them all in one application?
I don't think so, no. I might put them together in a bundle, but I won't make one big game out of them.
I love this! This is actually the first time I can use my favourite oc and have it feel authentic to his character. Neat, grumpy and strait-laced lol. I am really looking forward to the next chapter! I feel for Flea and I'm so curious how MC's relationship with him and Ted will play out 👀 Your writing and dialogue is so captivating, makes me wanna write too! <3

I was just wondering about when the next ep would be up. I don't think I can call myself a lurker anymore, when I keep popping out for you, lol. It was lovely to get to know more of Flea's past, it put some things into perspective and I enjoyed seeing some more bits and pieces of the world building. It was also nice to see how organically Flea is evolving - or, well, was evolving, at least. We're only on chapter 4, so I'm leery of what misery this spells for the future. But I like to look at this partly as Flea's sort-of-bildungsroman - the trials and tribulations come with the territory, so the crisis can only set-up for a beautiful pupation. Hopefully.
