Ok, loved it. Getting a little settling in time, a bit of jealous and confused Flea who doesn't get that he's already wormed his way into my Alex's heart, and finally make up sex and snuggles. Muah! *chef's kiss* Poor Ted getting the brunt of his 'sorta son's boyfriend's jealousy... xD

I just got here and binged all of incubus in one night, I love flea so much <3 such a deeply complex character, I'm excited to explore more of his backstory because the way you write his trauma and how he responds to it (or doesn't) is really thoughtful, especially with the sensitive subject matter. I've been interested in your work since the wilder days but after not keeping up for a long time I was honestly blown away by how much your writing has improved in the last several years, and it was really solid even back then!

I've been thinking of Flea lately!! I was honest to god going to re-visit this series in whole recently so imagine my surprise when I popped open my e-mail your message!! :3 (Which, ty so much for letting us know I was soooo excited and happy to see it!)
Echoing what others have said, I loveeeee the domestic aspect of this chapter... the "smaller" stakes, the personal drama... !!! So good!! The possessive and jealous side of Flea was so fun to see even if he was being a major pain in the butt hehe.
I've been playing a stoic/sometimes mean MC and it's so fun to see them navigate their dysfunctional selves in this budding relationship... Looking forward to where the next chapter takes them!! Thank you for your hard work once again Sonnet!! I'm going to go dive head first into a full re-read! >:3c
I'm so glad you enjoyed this more intimate-feeling chapter. The argument the detective and Flea have this chapter was one of the very first moments that solidified this story in my mind, all those years ago.

Highly recommend listening to LOOPGARDEN's hours of free jazz samples on youtube as bg music while reading these. It was perfect with the vibes and helped me settle into the story -U- <3333
