Another masterpiece!! I was eagerly waiting for this next instalment, I had my theories and prediction but this chapter surpassed all my expectations. The emotional rollercoaster this chapter took me on. I laughed, cried, felt angry. This was such an incredibly written and well done chapter. And the 2 different endings my gawd! And the "to be continued" at the end, I cannot wait for more on this story.

I do love how the demon is the true softie in this relationship. I'm proud how far our beloved parasite has come and I hold the detective quite close to my heart as well, in every iteration of them I've build so far.
Did it hurt having to write the other branch in this book? I hurt myself reading it, and then went back to undo the choice, bc .......well spoilers.

the "get gone" tingling activated pretty obviously, and for those who've read both paths, the differences are pretty glaringly hinting at heartbreak. So yeah, I can't do it. Not even just out of curiosity, the hurt puppy responses we get are just too much to bear for me. I'd much rather kiss and hug him all over.
